Last night was the inaugural "pup night" at the Black Eagle. It amounted to just Argo and myself, which we sadly anticipated. Not a bad night though. . .a handful of patrons really took to the dog and actually got on the mats to try their hand at wrestling with him. Ok.. so good. . .people were entertained. Argo was happy getting to play with some hot boys. The handler's happy. Now we just need other pups.
The walk home was when things got really interesting. It was snowing . . .I was in full leather. . and in my back left pocket was a black leather "flag" with a white leather bone stitched on it. As I made my way on my side street at 2 am, I realized I was being followed close behind. Not in danger. . .the guy's smaller than me. . .this is a cruising.
Ok. Get to the front door Dart and then turn around and have a look at the situation. He's not coming in. . .just make sure he's ok.
I turn around. . or lord-in-heaven he's a cute one!
Ahem!
I grin. "so where are you headed?"
He smiles back. . ."I'm sorry Sir. I saw the bone in your back pocket and I had to follow. It's ok if you can't entertain." Then he growls. . .
oooooh buttons are pushed.
"sorry little pup. .I can't bring you in. What's your name?"
"my name's what YOU want it to be Sir. I'm a good pup! Arf!!"
Gadz and here I am standing with a collar and leash in my hand.
"Not tonight pup. You ok getting home?"
He licks my neck. And smiles. "I am Sir. I'm on my way to the Cellar actually. But a dog like me would be damn lucky to have a Sir like you."
I scritch his ears. "ok pup. Have a safe night."
:)
Argo would eat him alive though.
