I have known Vince for years, and have seen a tremendous amount of growth and wisdom in him through his leather journey. Writing The Leatherboy Handbook is something he is immenseley proud of and it gave me great pleasure to share this time discussing it with him. During our interview we examine some basic fundamentals of the "boy" movement, its evolution through the years, and some of the regional differences. We then get more personal (and emotional) in the discussion as Vince shares some of the more painful, but necessary experiences of his own growth, and what ultimately led to his no longer indentifying as a leatherboy himself. I hope you enjoy this very insightful, and touching interview as much as I did.
